Wide Awake Newborn Girl

We had big plans for this sweet little girl’s arrival. Mom’s pregnancy was HUGE exciting event so of course we started making plans the minute she knew she was expecting. There were plans of peonies & floral wraps and all sorts of newborn photo session goodness. We booked a nice long slot for them, had everything ready, and of course (we totally should have expected as much) this little feisty girl wouldn’t have any of it. She was wide awake and yelling at me the ENTIRE three hours. I tried all my tricks, heating pad, sound machine, shhhh-ing….everything and nothing would sooth her enough to get her to fall asleep. We ended up with a few blinks that look like she’s happily sleeping and lots of eye contact. Cracked me up and we are still chuckling over it now that her full gallery is completed. Lets hope as she gets older she becomes a more cooperative photography subject because darn she’s cute!!!! 2019-02-19_00012019-02-19_00022019-02-24_00012019-02-24_0003
